Description
This spacious, split-level unit offers a cozy getaway in a quiet Mountain setting. With a wood burning fireplace it offers a true cabin experience. It has a fully equipped kitchen, wet bar and dining room with seating for 6, lovely stonework around the wood stove and vaulted ceilings in the living and dining room areas. There is a king bed with private bathroom in the upstairs loft, 2 twin beds in the second bedroom downstairs and a sleeper sofa in the living room. There is also a flatscreen Smart TV and DVD/CD player in the living room, WiFi access and balcony that overlooks the winter forest. This condo is just a 3 minute walk across the street to The Village where you can catch the gondola to Canyon Lodge and enjoy shops, restaurants, festivals and events. All guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, pilates and cycle studio and more. There are 18 stairs upstairs to the unit, 2 levels inside, is non-smoking and is not pet-friendly. This condo sleeps a maximum of 6 people and comes with 2 outdoor, unassigned parking spaces. Guests will be provided two parking passes. If more parking is required than what is allotted, feel free to call our office for alternative options. PLEASE NOTE: The complex community amenities are currently unavailable for access, with no estimated time of re-opening. This includes the pool, hot tub, common area laundry facilities and recreation room. We apologize for any inconvenience. No refunds will be provided for facilities or amenities not available. Construction of the new common area will be in effect from June-October, there will be active construction activity in this area, and this may cause some noise disruption and vehicle activity. The unit was clean and the beds/bedding comfortable but;
The bathroom faucet downstairs can't be shut off fully.
The recliner chair sides are broken and fall open when you sit.
The lighting throughout the unit is dim and dingy.
The baseboard heat knocks LOUDLY.
The kitchen is understocked in dishes, utensils, pots, pans. Limited covers for pots, if any.
The rug is stained.
Over all the unit is run down. Paying top dollar for this unit is not worth the cost. However, we did see other units in this complex that are completely updated with fully stocked kitchens, brightly lit with furniture that wasn't falling apart.
However, our one and only gripe is that the listing indicates "Sleeps 6." Well, the sofa bed is in unusable condition. It took some work to pull the bed out from the couch because the frame is bent. Once we were able to get it out, springs on the bedframe were broken. The mattress was also quite beat-up. We were forced to pull the mattress off the frame and put it on the floor because we were worried that more springs would snap in the middle of the night.
This rental should be described as sleeps 4 or the sofa bed should be replaced or fixed.
The hike up to the condo was a challenge for the elderly in the group - would have been nice to know that it sat at the top of a hill and upstairs to the complex.
