This newly built 3/2 condo at Rio Guadalupe Condominiums is the perfect spot for a weekend getaway on the Guadalupe River! Third floor condo, with vaulted ceilings and double sliding glass doors, that are floor to ceiling, opening out to a gorgeous patio with spectacular views of the river. Perfect for sipping coffee in the morning or finishing the day with a glass of wine. With direct river access you’ll want to spend your afternoons tubing, rafting, kayaking, canoeing, fishing, swimming or simply relaxing in a chair in the water watching tubers go by. Rio Guadalupe Resort is located right next door to rent tubes and shuttle service. You can also take a dip in our pool. There is something to do for everyone. This complex has covered parking for one vehicle and an elevator.
This beautiful condo comes fully furnished with all the comforts of home. The living room has an amazing view of the river and opens out to a fabulous covered patio with comfortable seating, a propane grill, and a propane glass fire pit. The kitchen is fully equipped including toaster, blender, and more. The master bedroom has a King size bed and a Smart TV, as well as a private bathroom. The second bedroom has a Full over Full bunk bed, and the third bedroom has a Queen bed. Guest bathroom is located conveniently near the living room and guest rooms. There is a Smart TV in the living room as well as free WiFi. High quality linens are provided for all beds and bathrooms. Maximum occupancy not to exceed 8 guests total.
Host must be 25 years of age or older to make a reservation and must be staying at the property. This condo comes with 2 parking spots and 8 wristbands. No trailers, campers or RV's allowed. If you have more than 2 vehicles there is additional parking less than 1 mile away. No portable grills or open flames. No smoking inside the condo or on the patio. No pets allowed. Family friendly condo with no tolerance for profanity or vulgar music. This condo has a maximum occupancy of 8 guests. This maximum occupancy is not to be exceeded at any time. No daytime guests allowed.
If you want to venture out, visit Schlitterbahn, the World’s Best Waterpark in New Braunfels (less than 15 miles away) or spend the day in Gruene, shopping, visiting the wineries or dancing the night away at the infamous Gruene Hall. Natural Bridge Caverns, Wimberly, and the San Marcos Premium Outlets are a short drive away. Canyon Lake is less than 5 minutes away where you can rent boats or jet skis. The whole area is full of small music venues like Whitewater Amphitheater (less Than 5 miles away) where you can hear the likes of Josh Abbott, Aaron Watson, Kevin Fowler, Hank Williams Jr. among many other talents. Maybe your ideal vacation is all about fly fishing. Did you know that Texas Parks and Wildlife and Guadalupe River Trout Unlimited stock this area each winter with rainbow and brown trout? January and February are prime fishing months here.

What a great time we had! The condo was super clean and had everything we needed. It looked just like the pictures. We felt very safe and enjoyed the overall atmosphere of the complex. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony each morning drinking our coffee- very peaceful. We loved spending our day at the river just sitting in tubes right outside the place or tubing from the horseshoe right back to the condo. Wineries and Gruene were a short distance away, but we also enjoyed River Rose Tavern and Wildflour Cafe which were right down the road. We had a great time!!!
We loved eating at the Gristmill and checking out Gruene. The property was super-clean and contactless check-in was easy. It had everything we needed for a great stay, and we can't wait to come back!
One of the best parts of staying here was the easy access to so many different destinations (1hr to San Antonio, 1hr to Austin, 30min to Schlitterbahn, 30min to Outlet shopping in San Marcos, 30 min to the Natural Bridge Caverns). It's a great location if you want to mix and match a little nature and city-based fun. You don't have to go far if you're looking to experience the Guadalupe River. You're just steps away from wading in the water or if you're feeling more adventurous, there's a great kayak and tubing rental company at the property next door that is more than willing to accommodate you. We did a short kayaking trip where you are dropped off a bit up river and you end your trip right in front of the condo. There's also a pool on-site if you want to put in a quick swim during your day.
The condos were nearly at full capacity when we visited but you could hear a pin drop at night. Very respectful neighbors made for great evenings on the balcony patio enjoying the table-top firepit, comfy patio furniture, and the beautiful night sky far away from city lights. We'd definitely stay again and would recommend this location to our friends and family.
We all had a wonderful time. Beautiful condo would definitely stay here again!!
