Description
The Cliffs is located on the north shore of Kauai on a park like setting overlooking the ocean ideal for watching summer sunsets or winter whale watching. Amenities include swimming pool, spa, tennis courts, gas barbecues and putting green. The Princeville resort community is also home to the beautiful Prince Golf Course, named Number One golf course by Golf Digest and is included in their list of America's 100 Greatest golf courses.
The complete kitchen includes range, refrigerator, disposal, microwave, dishwasher, and a gorgeous view of the Cliffs grounds with a peek at the ocean.
The living room includes comfy chairs, along with TV/VCR/Cable, CD and Stereo. Just the place to relax after a wonderful day in paradise.
The loft bedroom is equipped with two queen beds, a full closet, and plenty of storage space for clothing. The loft also includes desk with phone and WiFi.

We enjoyed every minute in this comfortable condo. The amenities and location were beyond our expectations and the concierge staff was both friendly and helpful. Also, the quieter side of the island was just what we needed to feel like we escaped to paradise

We have two teenagers making this two bedroom perfect for the family. It has a beautiful open space floor plan with a large master. From the kitchen and patio - there are peekaboo views of the ocean and sunset. The TV is Roku with Netflix and other streaming channels. All items are high-end with chairs, umbrellas, and a cooler for the beach at your disposal.
The grounds are stunning with every inch perfectly manicured with deep lush tropical foliage. The pool is awesome with three sides. The front is loud and family-focused with two waterfalls. The back is quiet for adults also with waterfalls - surrounded by jungle plants. Our favorite location was the lawn overlooking the ocean and sunset. There are also several BBQs and tables to have a sunset dinner (which we did). There's even a path to the water on the other side of the hedges.
Lastly, they have bikes at no cost to ride around Priceville with. Outstanding experience. Highly recommend.

Well we were not skimping AT ALL. Everything about The Cliffs was lovely! The condo itself was so spacious - with balconies on both front and back, sunrise and sunset. The master suite is enormous! The upstairs loft was plenty big enough for my 3 teenagers. The condo did not feel old or dated in any way and was appointed with everything we could need - ice cooler, boogie boards, beach chairs & umbrella. The kitchen was also well stocked with lots of dishes and appliances. The location, while not walkable to the beach, was a short drive to beach, grocery and many hikes. Walking out to the cliffs was a perfect place to relax and watch the sunset or the whales.
We loved being on the North Shore. It is SO MUCH more beautiful than other parts of the island. And Hanalei has a nice laid back vibe - nothing posh or pretentious. The staff at The Cliffs was helpful. I loved the food trucks that would come most nights for a lazy dinner option. The pool and spa area were not crowded and well kept. The grounds are lovely too. Highly recommend.

We had never stayed in the Princeville area on our previous visits to Kauai and we wanted to have the northern island experience. The apartment was on the 3rd floor, which is a must for us. Because of that, the ceilings were high and we had the fans on most of the time we were there. We love the views.
The area was a little difficult to find our first night there as it is a community of condominiums. But once we got to the apartment it was a delight.
The apartment is roomy (for us), nicely appointed with bamboo furnishings and Hawaiian prints used through the decor. We loved the breakfast patio and every morning, we were joined by a friendly cardinal, who actually grabbed some of my breakfast out of my bowl. The two patios (off the bedroom and off the kitchen/livingroom) mean there is a nice cross breeze. The kitchen was well appointed for our needs and we chose to eat most of our meals there. We visited the Foodland Grocery, very close by, almost every day, getting fresh papaya daily.
The pool was a nice touch and although I didn't play, there are tennis and racquet ball courts on the property. There were also some basic beach supplies in the closet and we packed the chairs and some towels for any stops at the beaches nearby.
Hanalei Bay is about 10 minutes away. What a beautiful little village and beach area. We went each night it wasn't raining to catch the sunsets.
Overall we had a very pleasant stay. It did rain more than we are used to and on one trip to a local Tropical Botanical Garden, we just took umbrellas and had them up and down while we hiked the garden trails laid out in the forest. We were very happy with our time there and a lot of it had to do with how nice the accommodations were.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Cliffs. Our place we super pretty - the kitchen had everything we needed - included storage containers. They provided a large beach umbrella, beach chairs and boogie boards - which came in handy. There was a nice breeze going through the place at night - since it was on the 3rd floor - which really helped cool it down. The pool and hottub really came in handy after a long day of hiking and just fun on the beach. We enjoyed it daily. Can't recommend this place enough - it was perfect for our family of 4 - everyone had a bed. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the top of the cliffs - it was amazing.

Unit was ideal for 2 couples. Beds in loft were very comfortable. Top floor unit with high ceilings was attractive. We made good use of the gazebo with grills on the cliff overlooking the sea, as well as the tennis and pool, both of which were among the top 2 in Princeville.

We had the best time at The Cliffs. We enjoyed the sunrise and sunset views daily. The pool area was fabulous. Pickleball in the evenings and riding bikes were both so much fun. The condo was extremely clean, the staff was friendly, and the area is safe. Groceries were nearby as well as good places to eat. The North Shore is by far our favorite area on the island, so this was the perfect place to stay. It was heaven on earth.

The 2 bedroom condo was well equipped but could have used some basic staples like salt and pepper. The unit has no AC but even the loft was comfortable at night with the fans and slider open. Not sure where the waterfall views come in as there aren't any. No easy beach access and no walkable dining available. Would have been great to see a few food trucks like they had during covid. You can buy ground coffee at the front desk and the prices were reasonable. The pool is small and seemed sort of murky so we stayed lounging on the chairs. Bikes are free for 2 hour rides.

I hesitate not to give this property a 5 star rating but there are a couple things you should know: Location is amazing!! I will stay at the cliffs again but in this particular unit probably not. The tennis courts, pool, BBQ grills, bikes, and overall neighborhood were beautiful and well maintained. However, there is NO A/C and this unit is located on the 3rd floor which makes it even hotter. After a long day at the beach I wanted nothing more than to come home and cool off. Opening windows at night does help but not also enough. Also was slightly disappointed in a few of the amenities. As a family of 6 staying for 10 day I expected more than 2 laundry detergents before I had to start paying for my own. Also with 6 people there was not quite enough silverware.

We really enjoyed our stay here !! Lots of activities close by. Roosters wake you at 6 am. Pool and tennis courts open at 9 am. Comfortable beds.

Love apartment, good location,quite, you can see ocean.But to get to he beach, you have to drive. Inside was everything what we needed. I ask for blender, and I found blender in he kitchen. Thank you very much!

This condo has everything you would want. My only wish is that it was closer to the ocean. The Cliffs has a great pool (heated) hot tub and tennis courts and pickle ball courts, bikes for rent and in a great location. They provided beach chairs, snorkel gear, beach toys, boogie boards, even a big sun hat. The kitchen has everything you could need. There is a nice covered patio and big windows. Very clean. Great customer service from management. I would recommend this.
