Located on the second green of the Sierra Star golf course, this Intrawest condominium boasts views of the Sherwins and is walking distance to Eagle Lodge. This home features a fully equipped gourmet kitchen with granite counters and designer furnishings throughout. The living room has a big screen TV, DVD, and surround-sound stereo system, plus a queen sleeper sofa. The master bedroom enjoys mission-style furniture with a queen bed, private bath, and TV. The second bedroom has a bunk bed with a full on the bottom and twin on top. Other amenities include an in-unit washer/dryer, and private wood decks with a small BBQ, and complimentary WIFI. Common area conveniences include underground (garage clearance is 7' 6") and adjacent on-grade parking, and a heated pool (in Summer) and spa. Walking distance to the shuttle. The unit is not pet friendly. All guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, pilates and cycle studio and more. This is a great place to stay in the winter. The problems are the garage parking space is very tight. If you have a truck or large SUV you may not be able to get into the space if others are parked in their spaces. The other issue is no Wi-Fi in the condo. Also if you are a light sleeper you will hear the people above you walking around.

This condo unit has a smart floorplan that offers plenty of space for a short stay in Mammoth. We enjoyed some of the features that set this unit apart from some of the other condo complexes: laundry in your unit, a vanity area with double sinks that is separate from the toilet areas in the master, a back deck PLUS a slider with a Juliet balcony next to the dining table, plenty of outdoor parking right outside our front door, and lots of natural light. Closets and dresser drawers were empty, leaving us plenty of space to unpack and store our luggage out of the way. We were there at the end of September and had the entire building t ourselves. The unit is clean and very functionable.

The only issues we had with the unit were minor:

1. The check-in docs we received from Mammoth Reservations said this unit didn't have wi-fi. However, when we arrived at the unit, we found wi-fi info posted inside. Not sure why that wasn't updated correctly with the reservation office.

2. The kitchen is very sparsely stocked. There are literally only six bowls for eating, so plan to run the dishwasher each night if you have a group of four. Only two dishtowels that I could find. No extra trash bags available.

3. Towels were sparse, too. We received exactly four hand towels and four washcloths, and there were no extras anywhere in the unit.

4. We noticed that in the master bedroom, our fitted sheet had been put on inside out and the blanket put on sideways. We had to remake the bed ourselves the first night.

5. Not all the blinds had working "wands" to turn the blinds different directions. Couldn't move the master blinds to direct the sunrise sunlight away from our faces and towards the ceiling. Same in the guest bedroom.

Overall, given the beautiful location, I'd stay again!

Yes there's internet, and it's good. WiFi Password is written on the side of the router. That said, there's a monthly cap on usage, so perhaps they can't guarantee it will be working when you get there. There is no ice maker as was shown in photos. This matters in summer when it's hot. Plan on buying a bag of ice. TVs in photos have been replaced with flat screens with available HDMI inputs. It's really dim indoors because they've cheaped out and bought low-power incandescent bulbs instead of investing in florescent or led which would last far longer. Very annoying for an old person like me. They give you dishwashing powder and toilet paper to last you a few days -- even if you stay for three weeks. Seems like the kind of thing they could figure out if they weren't so set in their ways.
