Elegant and spacious King Hale, set beachfront in a lush tropical jungle, is located in the serene community of Haena, just 4 miles north of Hanalei. Here you will discover beautiful stretches of white sand beaches and the most breathtaking of sunsets.
This 4BD/4BA eco-friendly home is built around an elevated open floor plan that is ideal for family gatherings or gracious entertaining. The fully-equipped gourmet kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances and granite countertops is perfect for intimate meals or large dinner parties. Off the kitchen, a large, round dining table with seating for 8 overlooks the blue Pacific Ocean. Oversized sliding doors to the lanai allow for seamless indoor/outdoor living and capture the gentle tradewinds blowing in off the sea. The living room has two large separate seating areas, a wall mounted flat screen television, a fireplace, and floor to ceiling windows that illuminate the tropical garden and beach beyond. Electronic amenities include DVD/CD players, Home has TV internet (so guests can use their own Netflix account, etc.), Wireless High Speed Internet, and iPod docking stations. the house is eco-friendly with extensive solar, battery backup and near zero carbon-footprint.
There are 3 air conditioned bedrooms on the main upper floor of the home. Two of the rooms are master suites with King beds, flat screen TVs, and ocean views. Both have en suite bathrooms that feature large walk-in showers and soaking tubs. The 3rd guest room has a Queen bed, and ocean views. All rooms have large windows and French doors that lead to ocean view lanais. The ground floor guest suite has its own separate entrance, King bedroom, bathroom and living area with sofa sleeper including Air conditioning. Home also includes a second complete kitchen in the downstairs apartment. A large gym with gym equipment is also available at the house, including a spin bike, bench, free weights, and yoga gear.
Haena beaches offer surfing, shelling, sunning, and (when weather permitting) world class snorkeling. The home is a short distance to the entrance of the famous Kalalau trail which runs along the great Napali Coast. A quick drive to Hanalei town will bring you to a variety of restaurants and charming boutiques. Here you will also find Hanalei Bay, a two-mile white sand crescent beach, which is ideal for surfing, stand up paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing, and good old fashioned swimming. Princeville is just up the road and provides activities such as golf, zip-lining, and horseback riding.

This was the seventh time we have rented a home
in Kauai for a family vacation
We all love the Haena location
Tunnels Beach is their favorite for early morning
snorkeling and is a walk away
We need a four bedroom and although this home is
virtually a three bedroom and three bath, the
downstairs small apartment was great for our
now “mature” granddaughters
This might not work for everyone, however
We’d definitely stay in this lovely home again!
The house is large enough for our family (8 adults and 2 kids). Loved the spacious Kitchen and living room. Would've liked to have a larger dining table, and the BBQ was a bit old and small for the house. They are doing renovation and couldn't accommodate some of the promised amenities, but Kevin was great at keeping us happy. We are sure to come back soon.
