Description
Keauhou Kona Surf & Racquet Club#8-304 is an excellent addition to Property Manager! We're proud to represent this unique property within the development that has 4 separated sleeping areas! This top floor gem can be considered a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom property.
Unit#8-304 is a corner unit, so there's extended lanai space with a Screened in Lanai featuring high vaulted ceilings & multiple relaxation areas. It's extremely private & has the feeling of being in a tropical forest. Large trees engulf the east side of the development keeping the unit having cooler temperatures from additional shade than other ones in the complex.
The main floor has a large open floor plan, featuring a fully equipped and remodeled kitchen! New countertops, cabinets, back splash!
The main floor also has the living area, lanai, & Master Back Bedroom. Enjoy use of a full bathroom too that's off of the master bedroom that has it's own King Sized Bed.
You'll find another bedroom that has disappearing walls that are shoji doors which separate the bedroom from the Living Room. Queen Sized Bed here! Next to that is another bathroom with a walk in shower and a stacked Washer/Dryer in that bathroom. This bedroom opens directly onto the Lanai!
Upstairs in the Loft you'll find immediately on the landing a Queen Sized Bed for the 3rd sleeping area. There is a bathroom with a walk-in shower separating this sleeping area from the 4th sleeping area with 2 twin sized beds!! A truly unique 4 bedroom property.
The Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club is a gated community of condominiums. There are three professional style tennis courts with night lighting. The large remodeled swimming pool is ideal for “laps” and also for small children and other water activities. Showers and restrooms are conveniently located in the large pavilion near the swimming pool and tennis courts.
One of the most interesting features of the Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club are the numerous archaeological sites. These preserved areas provide a glimpse of Hawaiian life years ago. Each site has a posted description of the activities that took place years and years ago.
The Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club has many gardens and walking trails. ONE GOES DIRECTLY TO A BEACH!! Flowers and tropical foliage are abundant. There are several outdoor barbecue areas for guests to go to.

In other reviews there were notes about the highway noise and heat. It is true that it is right by the road, but we didn't find it that loud (I am a light sleeper and with ear plugs I was fine). Also on the heat, it was 83 degrees on our trip and there are at least two fans in every room - an overhead and stand up - and when we had them on, the temperature was perfect.
So all in all, it was a fantastic place and it was a big part of what made our trip so good.

regarding check in and any other questions we had.
The location was within walking distance of a nice snorkeling beach and it was within driving distance of many great shops. We had two vehicles and there was plenty of parking close to the unit. The unit itself was spacious and fully equipped. The lanai was a great place to have my morning coffee and listen to the birds. The grounds offered a very nice pool option and access to the shore.
Our only comment is that the traffic along Ali'i drive was quite loud. While we appreciate that this isn't something the property owner can address (it's jsut because of where the property is located), we wanted to include it in our review in case people had babies or small children - it's likely the traffic could wake them up. It was a bit dissapointing to hear the traffic noise when having morning coffee or dinner on the lanai.
