Overall the house is beautiful! We loved the location and the view of the ocean. The pool was really fun! It’s a bit loud on the noisy street, but that’s just how it goes. We used fans to help drown out the street noise. It’s a quirky, but fun house to stay in.

House has everything a vacationer will need. A real home away from home the pool was amazing and so was the proximity to the snorkeling or any of the beach is a 10/10. Amazing place to stay on the big island.

The house was wonderful!!! It had many unique looks that made the trip memorable. It had everything we needed and more. The beds and bedding were so comfortable and we had plenty of fans to keep us cool.

We had an incredible time at this location. Everything about this house was absolutely wonderful. The pool was fantastic the amenities were all excellent. We would absolutely stay here again in a heartbeat. Wayne is an excellent host we greatly enjoyed our stay here and were sad to leave.

The house was wonderful! We had a couple of issues that were addressed immediately. The pool was a perfect addition due to not a whole lot of beaches in Kona. The convention cook top & oven was a struggle to work with as we haven’t used one before. We loved all the little gecko friends and even had a cardinal visit! This is on one of the main streets so there is a lot of street noise but it dies down at night. Beach access is right across the street. All in all a wonderful place to stay!

Loved our stay at the Bungalow-Beach house. It was immaculate and such a wonderful vacation house. We had everything we needed to relax and enjoy the Big Island. The pool was definitely one of the best parts as it was very warm while we were there and the pool is a great way to cool down. Oh and the amazing sunsets that could be seen right across the street through the public shoreline access! Overall a wonderful home and we would definitely stay there again!

Sunsets! Snorkeling right across the street!! House was perfect for what we needed. The in-law suite is right near the master bedroom so felt okay with kids 15 and 16. Would definitely recommend this house.

The house was beautiful and in a very nice location with all the amenities except probably the most important one, an air conditioner, the first few days were tolerable but the last few days were stifling and uncomfortable. Coming from AZ we were looking for a reprieve from the heat but it was just too hot in the house. The owners did bring another fan at our request which did help. If you're looking to be in complete comfort on your vacation it may not be the place. But like I said everything else was amazing.

Overall, the house appeared exactly as advertised. We had a nice view of the ocean, and the property provides relatively easy access to attractions on the island if you have a rental car. The home does not have AC, which we did not realize based on all the descriptions. Not too big of deal aside from when using the kitchen to cook meals. The ice maker did not work in the refrigerator. We called Wayne to let him know, but no one ever came to fix it. We bought ice a few times during the week; not ideal, but we managed.

This home was just as the pictures captured. Spacious living area with 2 nice sized bedrooms. Perfect for the 3 of us. Beds were very comfortable with soft linens. Towels were fluffy and new. House was supplied with all the necessities to cook at home. (although there are many good restaraunts to eat at near by) Owner was very quick to respond to any questions. She even suprised us with new Boogie Boards which was a very unexpected. There was ample soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The only thing that would have made it more perfect would have been air conditioning. There were a lot of fans provided. (I mean A-Lot!) Even so, it was difficult to get used to the humid heat. Just as a note: I live in California so I am used to heat and I grew up in Chicago so I know humidity. With all that being said it's a great place to stay. I wanted to be away from the crowds due to covid and this home was perfect. Just down the street is a very easy and lovely beach to snorkel. Plus the pool was great to jump into after a day of snorkling and exploring.

We had a wonderful experience at this house. We stayed there for 10 days in August with my 11 and 13 year old children. The pool and amenities were beyond our expectation. The laundry was conveniently located outside for sandy clothes, etc. The house is located on a busy road but that never seem to bother us. Traffic was not necessarily loud and we had the windows open. I ran along Ali'i drive each morning and there were many runners/bikers out. We were within walking distance to Kahalu'u beach which is wonderful for snorkeling and sunset. You can see the sunset from the property on the deck. The house is not air conditioned but there were plenty of fans and breeze to keep us comfortable. The kitchen was fantastic for cooking. The master bedroom and bathroom was open and felt very big. The second bedroom has a separate entrance and was also big. I would highly recommend this place for a rental for any family or adult group.

The house has everything you need! Beautiful & clean house & pool! Pros-central location Ali'I Dr. walking distance to Kahalu'u Bay, White Sands Beach & 4 miles easy walk or jog to downtown! Cons-on a busy street (might be an issue for some but not for me, I'd stay here again), no AC (not a problem for me, but might be for some). Has wonderful fans & cools off nicely. The view is gorgeous also from the lanai & though wires obstruct the view a bit, not a problem since that's how it us on the north side of Ali'I. It even has a closet downstairs with an ice chest & pool floaties. Communication w prop manager was delayed about 1 day but nothing major wrong with the house. Ice maker doesn't work, hope they fix it & stove vent doesn't work but I've mentioned it to them & I hope that is on their repair list. Screens are ok but some need repair.

Pictures of this stunning house are accurate. The noise from the road is a bit loud during the day, but not a problem at night. The house does not have AC, but great cross ventilation. It did get warm during the day, but cooled off at night. Two couples could stay here very easily. Overall it is a great house on the Big Island.

This house is right where you want to be if you want to stay south Kona. It is a five minute walk to Kahalu'u Beach for Snorkeling, 5 minute Drive to KTA for Groceries, 5 Minute drive to Kona Country Club for golf and a 5 minute drive to Magic Sands Beach. It was extremely clean and well aportioned in the house for everything we needed and also has plenty of snorkel and beach gear in a closet down by the gate including coolers. It is on Ali'i Drive which if you haven't been to Kona, can be a busy road, you still see the ocean when you look west. We would stay here again when we return to Kona.

The house was just as described, if not better, and we're already looking forward to our next stay here. As other reviewers have mentioned, it is located on a main drive so you get road noise, but it still feels very private and honestly didn't bother us one bit. It is about four miles or so from downtown Kona, which was perfect for us. We went into town a few times, but mostly stayed at the house as it had everything we could have wanted. Some of our favorite parts of this rental included: comfy, king bed (memory foam), beautiful kitchen (as we prepared most our meals in), large covered lanai where we'd enjoy watching the sunset each night, and of course, the pool! They also provided ample beach towels, pool inflatables, snorkel gear and chairs for the beach. Kitchen was fully stocked with cookware, spices, and grill utensils. And lastly, Wayne was great to work with. Prompt, professional and very helpful. We had a minor issue arise the first day, and he had someone out within an hour to fix it. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home and look forward to coming back!

Beautiful house in a great location. Was within walking distance to Kahalu'u Beach and near shopping. We enjoyed the large lanai, with a great view, and the swimming pool. The kitchen is large and top quality. Off street parking a big plus as Ali'i Drive can be busy at times. Overall, very comfortable and we would definitely stay here again.

We loved this house! Ideally situated, amazing pool, whale watching from the patio, best beach just a few steps away and the kitchen is huge and breathtaking. It exceeded expectations we will absolutely be staying here again when we come back.

This house is amazing. Beautiful view of the ocean right across the street, fantastic lanai, spacious floor plan and all of the amenities that you could ever think of. I will definitely be renting again when I go back to the Big Island.
