The unit boasts central A/C and new carpet in the bedrooms and hall. Your top floor tiled lanai is 30 feet from the ocean with unencumbered panoramic ocean views. Fall asleep to the sounds of the ocean from the oceanfront primary bedroom; ocean views can also be enjoyed from the living room, dining room and the kitchen sink. You'll love the soaring, open, wood beam ceilings that provide a light, bright, airy feeling and a cooler temperature enhanced by the onshore ocean breezes. You are within walking distance to a large shopping center with grocery store, and restaurants. Our stay at Hale Kania Kai, in the Kona/Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club, was a warm and welcome respite from a Fairbanks winter. It was just what we needed. The third floor unit gave a wonderful view of the breaking surf just below. We watched spinner dolphins and whales from the lanai, which was a comfortable size for four.
The unit was generally clean with the exception of the lanai and all of the fans in each room. I had to sweep up the sand and salt from the lanai before I could walk out there in bare feet. (We followed a shoes off policy in the house.) The overhead and standing fans all had streamers of dust trailing from them and are in need of a good cleaning. The kitchen was clean and well equipped. The living room furniture was not the most comfortable I have sat in, but it did the job. The closet full of beach play equipment was most welcome. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay here. The outstanding view far outweighed our few complaints, and we would be happy to stay here again.

Our family enjoyed our stay at this rental. Clean and spacious, had great views and close to everything. Reviews are accurate that the condo is dated in the furniture (carpets) but otherwise comfortable and had everything you would need from towels, toiletries, and kitchen supplies. Would recommend!

We visited Hawaii in January and we were very happy with our location as it had a fabulous view of the ocean. We spent our mornings and evenings on the Lani watching the sunrise and sunset. We did see spinner dolphins and whales from the Lani. I think the unit we stayed in was very comfortable. We did not mind the 3 flights of stairs to access the unit. There was a few minor things that did need maintenance, but we notified Wayne so that he was aware. This is an older unit, but very much worth staying here and will definitely stay here again. The beach is walking distance and we did a lot of snorkeling there, but be aware that a massive wave hit the beach a month prior to our stay and changed the beach from sandy to very rocky. We actually enjoyed it as it is now. The grounds are very neatly kept and beautiful

The view from this townhouse is incredible!! From the first day there, we saw whales daily from the lanai. We also saw spinner dolphins swimming and playing. Sleeping with the sound of the ocean every night was fantastic. Good location, 15 from town one direction, 15 minutes to Captain Cooks bay.

This condo has a million dollar view. If you want to be near prime snorkeling spots this is a great location. Also close to a grocery store and other shopping. Ideal condo for a family.

We have been coming back to the Keauhou Surf and Racquet Club on winter vacations for the past 7 years. It is a great spot. The staff works hard to keep the club in beautiful condition and the location is superb. Unit 3302 is one of the best units. The rental agent for unit 3302 is very responsive. We had an issue with the fridge and there was a serviceman at our door in less than an hour. Excellent. The view from the linai cannot be topped in the morning or at sunset. Great airflow through the unit. We have already booked this unit for our winter vacation next year.

Our stay at the Surf and Racquet club was everything we anticipated and more. The Condo was true to the pictures and the View from the Lanai was breathtaking. The only thing wrong was we had to eventually go home. But I left my children with a memory they will never forget. Hawaii is truly Paradise and those who live there are truly Blessed.

I stayed here for one week in November 2019. I loved the third-story loft unit. The complex is very quiet and near a golf-course and small-but-wonderful shopping center. The host was easy to connect with and his response to two of our concerns was prompt and respectful. The unit was very clean and the beds were comfortable. You'll need to buy most every food item that you'd like to use but that was not a problem for us. We will return for certain!

The condo is perfectly located in a garden-like setting with a sparkling pool, good tennis courts with a stunning view west toward the sunset. The unit was nicely furnished; had basic supplies; and was clean and comfortable.

The condo was in good condition, and was comfortable despite having no AC, which is typical for the area. But the best feature is the view. On one hand, it would have been nice to be closer to the shops and restaurants in Kona (it's about a 10 minute drive), but on the other, it was nice and quiet in this location. There was a grocery store and coffee shop in walking distance. One day, we walked up there and enjoyed the farmer's market. We bought very fresh fish and some vegetables and had one of the best dinners of our entire trip.

The whole experience from planning all the way until the end was a great experience. First of all, when I had questions prior to the stay, the response time was about 2 hours at the most. The instructions and preparations were spot on so that we were prepared for the home. The location was excellent! The lanai is large and we spend a lot of time enjoying the view. The condo was equipped with nice touches such as beach chairs, snorkel equipment and lots of beach towels. Overall a very nice place. Not quite walking distance to a snorkeling beach but magic sands was a short car ride and is highly recommended.

Spacious, well-equipped condo in a beautiful location. Our family of 6 enjoyed our stay here very much! We loved that it was so close to great snorkeling! There is so much to do on this beautiful island and this was a great location to use as a base.

We recently returned from our stay at this beautiful condo. It was our first time to Hawaii and fell in love with the island and our stay.
There were 6 adults in the condo and were never crowded and loved the amazing view, The condo was spotless and had everything we needed for cooking and enjoying our stay. Beach chairs, and even a cooler were included. Besides groceries there is nothing you need to buy. Plenty of towels and linens were available, Everything has been well thought out. The island contact was very responsive to our questions. I would suggest renting a car as we did a lot of driving to different beaches and site seeing. It is very quiet and the grounds were beautiful. We can't wait to go back!!!
