I’ve been a guest at the GulfCrest when it was a 2 story motel and now since it has transformed into high rise condominiums.
There are many memories at the GulfCrest.
This year there was an incident that was troubling. Our condo door was found unlocked and open after we had locked it only to learn that maintenance were inside our condo. We would were not made aware that maintenance had some work to complete in the condo. Imagine coming up from the beach and finding your condo door open with all of your personal belongings exposed. This was very upsetting and disappointing on behalf of the management team considering they had numerous ways to contact us and alert us to this entry. This should never had happened. Any number of things could have occurred that would have made this incident much worse.
I would hope that this does not happen again.
the furniture in the unit could use some sprucing up
the unit was surfaced cleaned...dirt behind doors and the trim on the kitchen and bath doors were not clean
The downside was the cleanliness of the unit. A superficial look at surfaces, it appeared clean. But just a few steps on the floor with bare feet and you would. We would have to wash our feet frequently or wear socks. Even walking from the show to the living room would result in filthy feet. Pretty gross.
If they can do a deeper clean of the unit between guests, this would be a perfect place to stay.
