Welcome to Seahorse Beach House, a 1-bedroom, 1 bath vacation rental which is one side of a duplex just steps to the beach and closer to the northern end of Estero Island. This location has easy proximity to the hub of the island at Times Square and the new Margaritaville Resort with its shops, restaurants and bars. There is easy egress off the island via the Matanza Pass Bridge. Nearby attractions are the seven miles of sugar sand beach of Fort Myers Beach, the world-famous shelling at Sanibel Island and the downtown River District of Fort Myers with its tours of the winter homes of Thomas Edison, Harvey Firestone and Henry Ford. And if you so desire a high-speed boat can whisk you to Key West in just under four hours from its Fort Myers Beach home, offering daily round-trips. This property has a shared heated swimming pool with an above-ground spa and a paved deck with fencing, tropical plants and deck chairs. Amenities include central air conditioning, ceiling fans, complimentary WiFi, private laundry and all towels and linens are provided.
On arrival, there is ample off-street parking, and the entrance is up the steps to the furnished deck overlooking the Gulf of Mexico and into the open-plan kitchen, living, and dining areas. There is beautiful wood flooring throughout. The kitchen has plenty of cabinets and counter space, and everything is available to whip up gourmet meals, or just snacks or toast and coffee in the morning. All you have to do is bring the food! Appliances include a dishwasher, glass top range with self-cleaning oven, built-in above-range microwave, and refrigerator/freezer with ice maker. There is a peninsular bar with four bar stools on the living room side. Adjacent to the kitchen behind louvered doors is a stacked washer and dryer. The dining area has a table seating four, which flows into the living area furnished with a queen-size sleeper sofa, end tables and lamps, a coffee table, and a recliner. There is also a credenza with a flat-screen TV.
The bedroom has a king-size bed with nightstands, a 5-drawer chest with a flat-screen TV, a triple dresser with mirror and lamp and ample closet space. The adjacent bathroom has a vanity with a lavatory and storage space beneath, a wall mirror, commode, and nicely tiled combination tub/shower with sliding glass doors.
