Description
Located in a quiet neighborhood with spectacular views from the large deck, this West End jewel is conveniently located just a few flat steps to the 8th Street bus stop that takes you to all 4 mountains (no more lugging equipment a couple of blocks down to the Ruby Park transportation center!) and walking distance to the Aspen Meadows Resort, the Aspen Institute, the Aspen Musical Festival and so much more of the cultural offerings on the West End!
You will be away from the bustle of downtown Aspen, but just a leisurely stroll away, or hop on the bus! For those without cars or who want to leave it behind, the 8th street bus stop is really the best ! All buses stop there and sweep you away to your destination without any of the annoying traffic that you will find downtown. And if you do have your car, no problem ! A designated parking space is provided during your stay.
The townhouse was extensively remodeled (designed by the renowned Libman Design Group) in 2014 and includes a raised main level, and redesigned hidden duct work to create a clean, light-filled, contemporary West End Aspen townhome. A single-stringer metal floating staircase wrapped in glass, and a basalt ledgestone wall are an impressive design statement. Wide plank white oak flooring is throughout. The main level powder room features an end cut wood accent wall from Oregon. A linear gas fireplace warms the living room. The open kitchen with island bar includes solid slab quartzite counter tops, stainless Bosch and Miele appliances, and pantry. The generous west facing master suite boasts a large walk in closet and a secondary closet, and the townhouse has two other bedrooms with en suite baths, along with an office/study that has a murphy bed and a computer workstation, perfect for hanging out separately from other members in your party. This is the 4th sleeping area and shares a bathroom with the 3rd bedroom on the lower level. The main living area and 2 upstairs bedrooms (including the master bedroom) have in room A/C units.

That is not to say that shorter term rentals are not welcome, on the contrary ! It is just that shorter term rentals require more work on our part, and so we can't offer our special pricing to you.
