Description
Property Manager is proud to present “Forever Views II”! Nightly Rental ~ Sleeps 6
This Southwestern-style hideaway overlooking the Pacific Ocean is the perfect place to get away from it all, with a romantic master bedroom suite, plenty of outdoor patio areas, and most of all, magnificent views of the ocean south of Yankee Point.
The 3-bedroom, 2-bath home has floor-to-ceiling windows to take full advantage of the view, as well as open-beam ceilings, skylights, Danish modern furniture, and hardwood floors throughout. The master bedroom suite features a sitting area/TV room in addition to a huge cedar-lined walk-in closet, bathroom with dual sinks and large shower lined with glass blocks and river rock.
The 2,451-square-foot residence is close to Yankee Point and other Carmel Highlands attractions, including Point Lobos State Natural Reserve. Although the area feels secluded and private, it’s just 10 minutes by car to a major shopping center and to the restaurants and galleries of Carmel-by-the-Sea. It’s also only 20 minutes to the world-class golf courses and restaurants of Pebble Beach®, to Monarch butterfly sightings in Pacific Grove, or to the Monterey Bay Aquarium and Cannery Row. Other attractions within a half hour’s drive are the natural wonders of Big Sur and wine tasting and dining in Carmel Valley Village.
Guests enter the front door into the great room made up of living room, dining room and kitchen, ideal for entertaining or hanging out with family. A unique river rock fireplace surround features a large piece of driftwood embedded into the wall above the wood-burning fireplace. Opposite this is a comfortable sectional couch facing a 60-inch HDTV.
The adjacent dining area offers seating for six, and the nearby kitchen offers a vintage Gaggenau gas cooktop, Thermador wall ovens, a Sub-Zero refrigerator and a small wood-burning fireplace. Turquoise tile countertops add a bright touch, and a double sink makes cleanup convenient. A built-in bench and a desk area offers space for sitting and reading, or doing paperwork.
Bedrooms and Bathrooms:
On one side of the house, Bedroom #1 is the primary suite that features a queen bed with luxury bedding, a wood-burning fireplace and large sitting room for enjoying the 36-inch HDTV in the evenings, with a door providing private access to the back yard. The suite includes a large cedar-lined walk-in closet with plenty of room for clothing and accessories. The en suite bath features a unique shower, big enough for two, made of river rock and glass block, as well as a private commode and his-and-hers sinks.
Down another hall are Bedrooms #2 and #3 both with queen beds and luxury bedding. Both have access to outside patios through sliding glass doors.
A hallway bath offers dual sinks and a tub/shower combination.
The home has a dedicated laundry room with washer and dryer.
The large backyard features drought-resistant plants and a small home vineyard, and offers patio seating and a gourmet gas grill for afternoon barbecues.
Parking is available in the one-car garage and also in the driveway.
Sorry, no pets are allowed in the home due to the Owner's severe allergies.

The pictures of the space are reflective of what it looks like, it has a large open view of the ocean in the distance and the sound of the ocean can be heard from the house. The layout of the home is spacious feeling and open.
The property was clean and well maintained. A few items at the beginning needed some attention and the people at Sanctuary Homes did everything they could to resolve as quickly as possible, the customer service was excellent.
This is our second time at this property and cannot wait to come back in the future for more time spent here.
We enjoyed attending a concert at the Sunset Cultural Center, loved driving the coast line from Pacific Grove to the beginning of HIway 1, we loved Big Sur and Point Lobos and our favorite restaurant is always Mission Ranch Inn, we love visiting Carmel Beach, Carmel Valley and kayaking in the Monterey Bay and the Elkhorn Slough.
A special mention to Tejido shop in Carmel and Carmel Valley. Just a beautiful store (among many of course) that should be on everyones list. this store just felt the best of all of them and felt so authentic and a "not made in China" store./
If you are at all inclined for a great resistance, strength and cardio training session, Pure Barre at Crossroads will keep you strong and fit during your stay. It is the best Carmel has to offer in that area.
Our visit to Carmel was in 2 words: magical and enchanting. Forever Views II was certainly a large part of that experience. Thank you to all who made it possible.
However, there are some things that need to be addressed:
1.The living room couch slides on the floor when you sit on it and should be replaced.
2.The mattress in the master bedroom is uncomfortable and should be replaced.
3. My husband and I had to take our cars to the shop due to the rats that ate some of the wiring in in both or our cars in the front of the house . The total cost to repair our cars was $1,727.00
We have two pieces of feedback. First, the wifi needs updating. It was frustratingly slow and practically defunct at times. Second, we called the property management company once to let them know that coffee machine wasn't working (and that they never stocked it with non decaf coffee), and no one did anything about it or made any attempt to make things right. They also didn't let us know that pest control was going to visit, and the car blocked us in unexpectedly in the morning. Overall it was a great experience and we'd book again!
We were attending a wedding just up the street at Carmel Highlands Inn, so the location was perfect. Quick to get to Carmel as well.
The only thing we came across was a shortage of pots for cooking - one big one and one small one, and that was it. We didn’t do many meals there during our stay, so it wasn’t a big deal.
