Description
This property is a 1-bedroom, 1-bath vacation cottage on the tropical Estero Island known as Fort Myers Beach. Its unique location is like finding a hidden gem! Amenities and location leave little else to be desired. This is all in the middle of the hustle and bustle near Times Square, the central hub of Fort Myers Beach. We're talking access to miles of white, sugar-sand beaches, restaurants, and the new Margaritaville Resort, all within walking or biking distance. Water activities abound. There's parasailing, jet ski rentals, and fishing charters to name a few. Trolleys run up and down the island, and this location is situated to provide quicker ingress and egress to and from the mainland. If that's not enough, your home away from home is also located right off the back bay with it's active boat traffic, Snug Harbor waterfront restaurant, Nervous Nellies bar and restaurant, Wahoo Willeys, and a myriad of other clubs and shops along the bay and Old San Carlos Boulevard. Amenities include off-street parking, air conditioning, private laundry, complimentary WiFi and all linens and towels are provided.
Enter from the front furnished deck into the dining area with a table and seating for four. Step up into the open-plan kitchen and living area. There is a combination of wood and tile flooring throughout. The kitchen has hard-surface countertops, a stainless steel sink, and cabinets with all the necessary items to prepare meals or just coffee and toast in the morning. Just adjacent to the kitchen is a stacked washer/dryer set and a door leading out to the rear deck. Stainless-steel appliances include a 4-burner glass top range with oven, above range microwave oven, Keurig coffee maker and refrigerator/freezer with ice-maker. There is a peninsular granite-top bar between the kitchen and living area with two bar stools on the living area side. The living area has a queen-size sleeper sofa with end tables and lamp, a coffee table and one side chair. There is also a credenza with a large wall-mounted flat-screen TV above.
The bedroom has a queen-size bed with nightstands and wall-mounted lamps. There is also a wall-mounted flat-screen TV, and a door provides access out to the furnished partially covered rear deck. The bathroom has a vanity with lavatory and storage space beneath, wall mirror, a commode and a nicely tiled walk-in shower.
