Take in the magnificent views with a drive to the end of the road: Ke'e Beach; totally worth it.
Like to Hike? Okolehao, Hanakapiai or Kalalau will get your fix.
Limahuli Botanical Garden; become a member if you like: history, plants, and local culture.
Kilauea Lighthouse: gorgeous views surround this historic site, a bird sanctuary as well. Picture worthy! Then eat lunch in Kilauea town at Kai Bar, The Bistro, or Kilauea Fish Market or grab and go a picnic lunch at North Shore Market and take it to the beach.

Our only minor hiccup was as we were driving to the property in our rented Yukon and read in the Arrival Instructions that XL vehicles don't fit in the garage...but vehicles must be in the garage overnight. Had this been noted in the description, we likely would have gotten two small vehicles for the 6 of us instead. We were able to park in the garage with mere inches to spare and didn't reach out to Martie for an alternative option, but definitely something to be aware of.
Overall, we were very happy with our stay and if we find ourselves needing a place to stay in Kauai again, we would happily book this property again.
